Credit Card Companies Lowering Credit Card Limits

According to an article by the Associated Press, credit card companies are beginning to lower credit card limits for thousands of customers. This is a reaction to a number of unpleasant economic conditions which include sharp increases in credit card usage, further falling housing prices, a weak job market, and increasing fuel and food costs. Freddie Mac Attack on Investment Properties in LLCs

Freddie Mac (a quasi government entity that buys mortgage loans) has changed its guidelines in regards to refinancing properties in LLCs. According to Realty Times:

Freddie Mac, one of the two largest underwriters of conforming loans on the secondary market, have changed their internal rules to state that they will no longer refinance a property that has been inside of a Limited Liability Company (LLC) for any time within the past 6 months.
